This in-mold helmet is adjusted looking at the child, an important distinction over other adjustment systems. Sizing here is simplified to XS/S and M/L; both shells are small and in proportion, yet give kids substantial range for growth.

These helmets are developed in line with the technology of the other Skull Helmets but are aimed specifically towards freeride skiers. They use the same semi-hard shell technology but are made lighter and have detachable ear pads for those warm spring days.
The POCito Skull helmet is derived from the POC Skull racing helmets, but with modified properties. A typical adult racing helmet is designed to provide accident protection at very high speeds, far above the speeds that children can achieve. This children's helmet therefore uses a softer lining, which provides much better shock absorption at lower speeds and forces.
The helmet also has continuously adjustable sizing, which allows the child to grow with the helmet. At the back of the goggle strap there is a panel for writing down parent's contact information and emergency medical information.
Inside the POCito Skull helmet, mounted beneath the shell, there is a Recco avalanche rescue reflector. For maximum visibility in daylight and twilight the helmet is fluorocent orange, and has reflective stickers.
